Schecter Gary Holt V-1 fr 2011

I am offering for sale a rare, discontinued signature model by Mr Holt (Exodus and Slayer).The guitar has undergone a complete overhaul, as some idiot (NOT the previous owner, who was originally from Switzerland) stripped it of practically everything that made it a signature model (Grover tuning machines, the typical red EMG pickups found on Gary’s models, the original Floyd Rose and even the volume knob with the plates for locking the nut) and replaced them with cheap parts in an anthracite finish, which didn’t suit the guitar at all.At least the original pickups were good old EMG 81/85s in near-new condition, which had been fitted to the prototype of this model before Gary’s RED series was released.Everything has now been restored (and probably even improved) to the most authentic condition possible (the tuners, bridge and volume knob are all from Gotoh in the original gloss black finish. The tuners and Floyd Rose are bestsellers in their category).The pickups are an original Gary Holt RED set with brand-new wiring, which was done for me by Mr Macho (R.M. Pickups). The instrument has been cleaned…shiny as a mirror, with the neck and action adjusted, and the Gotoh bridge levelled. New strings tuned to standard D, as used by Exodus, in 10-52 gauge. A case is included with the guitar. The price is fixed!
